ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION

Representative Gayle Harrell

  • Will require all law enforcement to report illegal
    immigrants to the Enforcement office of the United
    States Department of Homeland Security, if the illegal alien
    has been arrested or convicted of a felony offense.

  • Allows the Attorney General's office, Department of Law
    Enforcement and local law enforcements to vigorously
    pursue all opportunities to collect federal funds to help
    with the costs of enforcing the federal immigration laws.

  • Will require state agencies which provide public benefits
    to verify citizenship of any person 14 years of age or older,
    who apply for the benefits.

  • No county or municipality shall use revenue to fund a
    worker center or day-labor worker center when the center
    or any part thereof knowingly facilitates the hiring of
    illegal immigrants.
